Westlands Community Primary School

School History

Separate Infant and Junior Schools were established on a single site in the late 1950s.

In 1982 a time of low birthrates and falling roles across the County, the Schools were amalgamated forming a single Primary School.

In 2002/03 the school was completely refurbished adding 7 new class bases, a premier league astro-turf pitch, two halls, a music room and so much more, at a cost of about £3 million. The quality of the outside space, the wildlife area, 21 class bases and other facilities are exceptional and enable us to provide a fantastic learning environment for our children at the centre of our community.
